Here are a few other things I’m proud of doing.
I teach woodworking with Project Fielding, a teaching collective dedicated to educating and empowering women, non-binary, and transpeople to use power tools and build with wood. We strive to help people achieve confidence with their hands. You can learn more about Project Fielding in this short video I created.
Jewish Social Justice + Art
I cut my teeth in education as an activist training young people in bystander intervention, sexuality education and later teaching young Jews around the country to understand the occupation with IfNotNow. I see education as path to build a more just world. I have taught various social justice art classes in Jewish spaces including a Jewish Superhero comic class geared towards 4th graders and a Photography and Jewish Identity class for 8th graders. You can read more about my education philosophy here.
The Radical Stitchery
From 2016-2019, my sibling Tali Ginsburg and I ran an online shop where everything was handmade, queer-made and mostly functional. We donated 10% of the list price of each item to rotating justice organizations including Organized Communities for Deportation (OCAD) and Southerners on New Ground (SONG).
My web series Afternoon Snatch premiered at the Museum of Contemporary Art in 2017 with Open TV. You can watch this queer web comedy about heartbreak and the importance of community on Open TV.
